My "why":
For as long as I can remember, I've been a storyteller. From short poems to full-length novels, I've spent the vast majority of my life trying to create meaningful stories that delve into the complexities of being human. Those instincts carried over the moment I picked up a camera, and now, I don't want to tell just any story. I want to tell yours.
When you book a session with me, you'll be working with someone who strives to see you for who you truly are. You're not just a client to me, and I'm not just a man with a camera. We're collaborators, working together in a relaxed, judgment-free environment to create something true, something real. Something worth immortalizing.

My process:
1.
The consultation
We meet, either in person or over Zoom
We get acquainted, and discuss what excites you, what scares you, who you are at your core
Together, we craft an idea of what you want your photos to say to the world
We agree on a date, time, and location for your shoot
Sign our contract, pay the non-refundable retainer, and wait for the big day
2.
The shoot
We meet at the predetermined location
We chat for a few, and try to shake out the pre-show jitters
We start working together on creating images that look and feel like you
We debrief, and schedule a time and date for our next meeting
3.
The reveal
We meet again, either in person or over Zoom
You select your favorite photos from the session
Allow me 1-2 weeks to edit the shots you loved
I let you know when the edits are finished, you pay your remaining balance, and I send you a link to your gallery
You view the gallery, and from there you can download the photos we made together
If you'd like to order prints of your favorite photos, this is the stage where you'd do so
FAQs:
Where are you located?
I'm based in New York City, but I'm open to traveling within reason. Feel free to reach out whether you're in the five boroughs, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey, or beyond.
Do you do weddings/parties/events?
My main focus is on intentional, personal portrait sessions where we create an environment in which you feel safe to be your authentic self. That being said, I would be open to shooting small, intimate gatherings.
What if it rains, or I have an emergency?
As long as you're still up for the shoot, I'll be there rain or shine. But if the weather is truly cataclysmic, or something personal has come up on your end, then we can absolutely reschedule.
Can you send me the RAW files?
No. My edits are a key part of my process, and the assumption is that you're requesting my services because my process and the photos I create speak to you in some way. You wouldn't ask a chef you like for their raw ingredients, would you? Same concept.
